about 3 years ago – Thu, Mar 18, 2021 at 10:45:31 AM

Hello Charms Backers!

As you know, the PDF edition is available already for download on backerkit.

However, we just got our PRINT editions sample from the printer, and we are finally on press. The printer was backed up for the Chinese New Year celebrations as well as other large jobs in their queue.  Check out the images of the printer sample:

Now that we are on press, we can expect to see the printed editions in MAY and hope to have your edition in your hands by JUNE. This is a little off schedule due to factors outside our control. However, it may help your planning. If you need to alter your address in backerkit there is still time:

The Print Edition Schedule
about 3 years ago – Mon, Feb 08, 2021 at 10:08:06 AM

Hello Backers!

We hope you’re finding beautiful and excellent ways to celebrate Black History Month!

Our demo game night to honor Dr. Martin Luther King using CHARMS: Quests for Antiracism was a powerful and insightful experience and we’re happy some of you were able to attend last month!

You all should have claimed/received your digital edition of CHARMS: Quests for Antiracism at BACKERKIT and hopefully had a chance to try it out on the free online version of CHARMS: A Game of Insight with your friends, family, or groups. This is helpful for having dialogues on video conference calls and people could write their insights into the chat.

As noted, we sent the final files to the printer/manufacturer at the end of December. The printer sent a digital sample and included a photo they sent of the expansion’s game pieces for you to see here. They also informed us they have been very busy on many projects. The printer updated us that they will ship the manufactured proof sample after the Chinese New Year holiday (at the end of February) for us to review. We will be in touch when we learn more about their production schedule after that time. In my experience and by all signs, we likely will have the manufactured edition release in APRIL or MAY.

The printer samples of the new Charms pieces!

Hope you’re having a good February and Happy (almost) Chinese New Year!
